Overall Score
What Are the Overall QWL Levels for the Department and the Company?
The first page of the profile shows the overall quality of working life (QWL) score for the department and for the company. To make them easier to understand, the scores are expressed as percentiles so they can be compared with the scores for all the people who previously completed the questionnaire.
An overall score of 65 shows that 64% of the people who already completed the questionnaire have a QWL that is not as good and for 35% the QWL is better. This result is in the range for a Good Quality of Life. A score in the Desirable Adjustments interval (from 26 to 50) indicates that improvements are needed in certain domains. Scores below 25 are in the Problematic range. In such cases, it is highly likely that action will be required to improve the QWL.
In the example shown, the department obtained a score of 42.9 and the company scored 36.8, which puts both of them in the Changes Desirable range.
