Quality of Working Life Profile
What is the QWL level for each of the domains analyzed?
How does the QWL for one group of employees compare with that of the company?
How do the QWL scores for the company and the group of employees compare with the QWL for the thousands of people who have already completed the questionnaire?
The dots on this graph represent the QWL scores obtained for each domain by the department concerned. The domains are organized according to the QWL scores (from the highest to the lowest) and the colour of the dots changes depending on whether they are in the Good Quality of Life interval (green dots), in the Changes Desirable interval (yellow dots) or in the Problematic interval (red dots).
The line shows the score obtained by the comparison group – here it is all the employees in the company – and can be used to compare results for two groups of individuals. For an individual profile, the dots would represent the employee’s results and the line, the results of his department. Once again, the scores are expressed as percentiles so they can be compared with the results of all the people who have already completed the questionnaire.
In the example, the graph shows that the department employees’ QWL is higher than the QWL of the whole company in the first 14 domains illustrated. The profiles of the two groups are then fairly similar except for the last domains where the QWL for the whole company is higher than for the department. This graph also shows that the QWL scores are almost all under 50%, for both the department and the company. Therefore many adjustments may be necessary to improve the QWL for these employees.
