This table summarizes everything that was just illustrated. It shows each working life domain, from the best to the worst, and specifies the interval in which it is located.

The table also shows the domain’s improvement or deterioration speed, how important it is considered to be and whether the goal attached to it is higher or lower. If an impact has been measured, the interval in which the QWL would be if the event had not occurred is indicated.

This table can be used to draft an action plan quickly. In terms of prevention, a domain in the red range with a high level of importance and deterioration speed may constitute a psychosocial risk factor and be a priority for fast action. On the other hand, domains in the green range will be considered protection factors.

In the example, the “Advancement opportunities” domain is at the lower end of the yellow interval, is deteriorating and is deemed very important. Action may be more urgently required for this aspect than for the “Relations with the union” domain in the Problematic range that is considered less important. Special attention to domains must be based on speed of deterioration and importance ranking and not just on their position in the red or yellow intervals.

The action plan priorities must be agreed upon by the employees and managers.
